  • Chair - Andrew Maitland (Acting SB for Content; SB for Admin)
  • CODE - James (SB for Code; Acting SB for Arch)
  • Observer - RazMatic

  • [19:07] <@[Chair]Andrew> Greetings everyone. Welcome to the Non-Quorum PCGen Board of Directors Meeting on Aug 17th, 2012 (7pm PDT)
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> Agenda Items:
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> * Road to 6.0, what's left for Beta
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> * Data conversion for 5.16.x datasets to 6.0
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> * PF partial dataset conversation
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> * Prep for 6.0 - Docs/Walkthrough etc
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> *hands talking stick to James* I'll let you go first.
  • [19:09] <James[Code_SB]> ok, I;ve been continuing work on the LST converter, which is the main thing gating the beta release from the code side
  • [19:09] <James[Code_SB]> I haven't yet sorted out the loading issues, but am still plugging away
  • [19:10] <James[Code_SB]> That's about it from me
  • [19:10] <@[Chair]Andrew> Okay, thanks James
  • [19:11] <@[Chair]Andrew> For Content Side - Data - I'd like to get the current popular PF books in before we go Beta, or by extension of grace by Code allow the books entry during Beta but not before RC.
  • [19:11] <@[Chair]Andrew> I'm near the final stages of the Pathfinder Ultimate Combat
  • [19:12] <James[Code_SB]> I think it is a good plan
  • [19:12] <@[Chair]Andrew> I don't want Partial Sets as that raises more bugs for the monkeys to sort through and reply too. More overhead for little gain in my opinion
  • [19:13] <@[Chair]Andrew> Other than that, I'm eager to test out the new format, I have spells set up that I'm working on, so that aught to be an interesting test. :)
  • [19:14] <@[Chair]Andrew> I don't have anything much else to add. My personal time has been devoted to the Data Set. Nothing else movement wise in the other teams I oversee. Only thing I have is Web Team discussing Wordpress, but I would like to give Liferay a go soon.
  • [19:15] <@[Chair]Andrew> Questions?
  • [19:15] <James[Code_SB]> None here
  • [19:15] <@[Chair]Andrew> [Open's Forum to Public Comments]
  • [19:15] <@[Chair]Andrew> RazMatic - Any questions, comments?
  • [19:16] <RazMatic> none,just hope gmgen gets fixed
  • [19:16] <James[Code_SB]> GMGen should be fine in the latests nightly releases and will be right for the beta
  • [19:16] <@[Chair]Andrew> What's broken in GMGen?
  • [19:17] <RazMatic> I'll give it a try.
  • [19:17] <James[Code_SB]> It turned out that a lot of the interaction with PCGen had not been reinstated with the new UI, but I;ve sorted that now
  • [19:18] <James[Code_SB]> See [CODE-1425] - Characters do not load into GMGen for full details http://jira.pcgen.org/browse/CODE-1425
  • [19:19] <James[Code_SB]> Andrew, there was an agenda item missed - Prep for 6.0 - Docs/Walkthrough etc
  • [19:20] <@[Chair]Andrew> Docs are kept up as much as Eric does them... Walkthroughs I believe are updated (If not we need a JIRA).
  • [19:20] <@[Chair]Andrew> What other prep did we need?
  • [19:21] <James[Code_SB]> I thikn Eric was holding off util things were stabel to redo the walkthrough.
  • [19:21] <James[Code_SB]> It still refers to the old UI.
  • [19:22] <James[Code_SB]> At this stage I don;t expect to make any major interface changes so it should be safe to start the walkthrough rewrite now
  • [19:22] <James[Code_SB]> The LST docs are looking good already
  • [19:23] <@[Chair]Andrew> Sounds good. Anything else?
  • [19:23] <James[Code_SB]> I'm good
  • [19:24] <@[Chair]Andrew> I declare this non-quorum meeting adjourned. *Bangs Gavel* Thanks for coming everyone.
