  • [19:01] <@[Chair]Andrew> Okay, so, small group tonight
  • [19:02] <@[Chair]Andrew> *bangs ye gavel of attention* Welcome to our Non-Quorum Board of Directors Meeting on Nov 11th, 2012 7pm local (PST)

  • [19:03] <@[Chair]Andrew> Vote for Release of 6.00.00 Production
  • [19:03] <@[Chair]Andrew> James, the floor and talking stick are yours.
  • [19:05] <James[Code_SB]> I've just been keeping an eye on the bug reports since RC1 went out. None of the reports for coe are serious enough to stop the release of 6.00.0 but I would like to fix some of them for a later patch.
  • [19:05] <James[Code_SB]> That's all from me
  • [19:06] <James[Code_SB]> on the 6.0 release
  • [19:06] <@[Chair]Andrew> I agree - the stuff I've patched is minor stuff. I'm good for 6.0 to be released
  • [19:07] <@[Chair]Andrew> So - formal - Content is a yes
  • [19:07] <@[Chair]Andrew> Admin is a yes
  • [19:08] <James[Code_SB]> Code - yes
  • [19:08] <James[Code_SB]> and there have been no objections raised on the BoD list
  • [19:08] <@[Chair]Andrew> correct
  • [19:10] <James[Code_SB]> ok, I'll do the release this afternoon then
  • [19:10] <@[Chair]Andrew> Excellent
  • [19:11] <@[Chair]Andrew> That was our one agenda item... Open Forum.
  • [19:11] <@[Chair]Andrew> Any other business to bring before the BoD?
  • [19:11] <James[Code_SB]> From Kar
  • [19:11] <James[Code_SB]> I won't be able to make this one - topics covered will be: * Last issues to resolve for 6.0.0 release * Initial plans from code team on major goals for post 6.0.0.
  • [19:12] <@[Chair]Andrew> Well, we've cover the first with the objections and vote.
  • [19:12] <James[Code_SB]> Yep
  • [19:12] <@[Chair]Andrew> Which leaves the Initial Plans from the Code on Major Goals post 6.0
  • [19:13] <@[Chair]Andrew> which is all you again James ;)
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> So for code post 6.0, I was aiming for a to 9 month cycle
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> IN the code meeting last wekend we discussed the following major goals
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> Tom - Core Cleanup
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> Javier - Client/Server PCGen
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> Devon - Quick tasks (e.g. tag cleanup), text parsing of sources, investigate GIT
  • [19:13] <James[Code_SB]> James - Remove old UI code, FreeMarker output, start looking at LST editor
  • [19:14] <@[Chair]Andrew> add 'Stefan - Item Variable Proposal'
  • [19:14] <James[Code_SB]> Nice
  • [19:14] <@[Chair]Andrew> and 'Wilson - Count Function when CDOM is deemed stable'
  • [19:15] <James[Code_SB]> ok
  • [19:15] <@[Chair]Andrew> The last, he stopped due to information flow changing, you might want to touch bases and see what needs to happen to get that going again.
  • [19:16] <@[Chair]Andrew> From Barak - Content SB - We'd like Item Vars; DEFINE:STAT Proposal; Iteration Proposal - on the radar
  • [19:16] <James[Code_SB]> Yes there was a lot of stuff moving, particualrly with the facets work
  • [19:17] <James[Code_SB]> What I might do is set up some entries in jira as a roadmap for the 6.1 cycle - if you have issues alreayd raised for those please let me know and I'll include them
  • [19:17] <James[Code_SB]> but we would still need volunteers to pick them up
  • [19:18] <@[Chair]Andrew> Understood.
  • [19:18] <@[Chair]Andrew> We still have the Data Team Wishlist 1 and 2
  • [19:19] <James[Code_SB]> Ah yes
