Wiki Policies

The Main Wiki - hereafter referred to as "Wiki" is a central hub of ideas and information dispersal. It's very intricate to many teams as well as users. It's loss of use would be very detrimental. The following practices shall be exercised when updating or adding items to the WIKI.


  • ALL Updates shall be approved either with the Web 2nd or Admin SB. With the Exception of Emergency Bug Fixes, Security Breaches or other items deemed too important to wait. (IN most cases, such items will be handled by the Admin SB or Web 2nd)
  • For all regular items, new extensions, minor fixes, we shall endeavor to use the pcgen Test Wiki to ensure the Wiki will work and operate without apparent issue. A notice shall be placed on the Web Team Mailing List and the Wait time will be until deemed okay by the majority of the monkeys that use the WIKI; Including but not limited to: James Dempsey, Tom Parker, Connor Petty, Martijn Verburg, Andrew Maitland, Anestis Kozakis, Eric Smith; or until one weeks time has elapsed with no issues.
  • Noting Changes. Please update the text file '1.WikiWebTeamChangeLog.txt' in the main WIKI Folder to indicate what you changed, your Name and the Time and Date you implemented. Following the previous format. This Changelog will be uploaded to the SVN.

Due to the insecure nature of the web, FTP Information will be given out to those monkey's on the team on an 'AS NEEDED' basis.
